Quote from: tophawg19 on Today at 07:41:41 pmWhich coach is responsible for what role under Cal? He seems like a coach who delegates more to assistants than Muss does. Hopefully Payne can bring a toughness to the team. I haven't paid attention to Louisville so I have no idea what went wrong there

Don't know how things will go moving forward but he is an ace recruiter and works with the big men.

NEWS: BYU transfer Aly Khalifa has committed to Louisville, his agent @DanielPoneman tells @On3sports. He will be redshirting this upcoming season.

The 6-11 big man chose the 'Cards over Kentucky and his former head coach Mark Pope. He also considered a return to BYU.

just a guess but since Covid, I would imagine anyone who owns a department store has taken an arsewhoopin financially

Quote from: Oklahawg on Today at 10:07:16 pmYou are confusing your fandom with the industry impression. I can't help with that.

I spent an hour with one of the guys putting Oklahoma State's football NIL together. They want Pittman if Gundy retires one of these days. Also said that its their understanding Sam could go to other P4 schools if he were to leave, which is why they wanted to nab him now.

Yeah, not exactly Ohio State knocking at your door, but a huge chunk of this board lives in an echo chamber that has drummed up the anti-Pittman narrative. I do get why it exists, but it is magnified a lot. Simply getting perspective from a program that fancies itself as a step-up from UA should matter to a few around here.
Pittman is a mediocre at best game day coach. It's possible he will improve under Petrino's tutelage but he doesn't have an instinct for it.
I've seen a lot of high school games coached better.

Quote from: Leadbelly on Today at 09:50:06 pmBeat Okie Lite, then we'll talk is my approach.

Sad the 2nd game of the year has so much riding on it but it does. After last year it would take a lot of work to turn the season around if we crapped the bed at OSU.

Lose a close game is okay. But get stomped and this team could crumble. I'm not predicting this just saying if it happened.

I'm hopeful we can win a tough close match.

Quote from: bennyl08 on Today at 11:01:49 pmThere's a big difference b/w thinking somebody isn't good at their job and somebody who goes out of their way to both constantly rag on somebody and even make up things to be angry about that aren't true. Whether that actually constitutes 'hate' or something just a run or two short of hate, hogville is full of people with an 'unhealthy amount of dislike' for the man.

What constitutes "full"?

2-3 is about what I count. Considering how many post here worrying about 2-3 is hardly worth it.
