Work obligations prevented a trip to HSV this weekend, but there was time to squeeze a quick round at Burns Park Tournament course. Hit the ball probably as well all year, it felt good. Shot 72 which is +2 out there.

I've said it all year. The bats have been there when they needed to be except a few games this year. I understand Tygart, Molina, and Bybee have been struggling lately. But here's the deal. Sometimes an offense needs to feel pressure to come out of their shell and reach their potential. Arkansas almost came back in game 2. We brought the tying run to the plate in game 2. In game 3 we fell behind 6-0 and scored 9 unanswered to win. I'm not saying that those 3 pitchers struggling is a good thing, but what I am saying is that in the long run it will be better for us when it matters in a couple of weeks. This pitching staff is too deep to worry about it. If one guy is struggling, next man up. We are now a lock for a national seed and have a chance to win the SEC West next weekend with one win at A&M.
