Gotta love these Patriots.  They can play whatever game they need in order to win.

They can go 5 wide and blaze up and down the field or they can smashmouth and grind.

I love it!

Go Patriots!!!

I got them in the Superbowl against either Green Bay or Minnesota. Dallas isn't going anywhere.

Green Bay won't be making it to the Super Bowl.

As for New England, they'd better start playing better or they won't, either.

bao187

my pick for superbowl is Cleveland Browns vs New York Giants ha wouldnt that be crappy but really i want Chargers vs Packers

Laughter isn't painful, brotha! ;D

If his joke of a Cowboys team loses to my Vikings in the divisional round of the playoffs,  we know who will be in serious pain while the Pats host the Lombardi Trophy again.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Neither is going to happen.

Apparently the joke's on you.

Half of it will; the Patriots will take the Lombardi Trophy home.

Ivan,  there's a really good chance that in 30 years they'll still be talking about the 2007 (19-0) New England Patriots just like they have the '72 Miami Dolphins for the last 35 years.

How will that make you feel?  8)

Being that the 1972 Miami Dolphins weren't snotty, arrogant, holier than thou cheaters, I don't see how that's even plausible at all.

That's fine.  I  don't expect them to beat the Cowboys, but I do hold out hope-- after all, they had the lead at Dallas into the 3rd quarter once already this year, despite having a joke of a quarterback, so it's not out of the question.

The Patriots would walk all over the Cowboys at Dallas though....oh wait.  They already did that.

Being that Dallas toyed with them before putting them away, I wouldn't hold out too much hope.  Lest you forget, Minny's offense only scored seven points.  Peterson couldn't crack 100.

Way the Patriots are playing, they'd better be concerned about even making it to Glendale.

Who'd the Cowboys beat on Sunday again?  Oh yeah-- nobody.

I think you're preaching to the wrong group about struggling.

I see your point.  They're barely getting by eking out that 14-0 record.  You make a lot of sense.

Not really.  It was one game.

I have a homework assignment for you.

- What is the combined record for Minny's opponents during their little win streak?

Answers must not be filled out in red ink.  Drives the teacher crazy.

28-42-   a .400 WPC.

What's the record of the opponents the Cowboys have defeated this year?

67-86 --  a .437 WPC.

Not terribly  more impressive.

The same Giants team that is your 2nd best win.

You should win a very weak NFC, but the Patriots will walk away with the Super Bowl, no matter who comes out of the NFC.

How are the Pats supposed to go undefeated unless they get Vinatieri back for the super bowl?

Gostkowski is the new Adam Vinatieri.   Unfortunately for Adam,  his going to the Colts has rendered him the new name "Adam Van Dertieri"  ;D
