"not responding"

I've been getting this a lot on my PC.  Even when opening task manager.

You gurus have any thoughts? I have run my AV and Spybot.

Clear out cookies and temp files (not just temp internet files). Look up instructions on "Disc Cleanup" or "Disk Cleanup"
