Hoping the track plays like yesterday leaving horses on the front and favorites getting passed down the stretch.

I am really interested in to see how the 5th race plays out.

Quote from: mckinneyhog5 on April 07, 2019, 10:29:55 pmGuys, we have hired the BEST coach that we could have hired. Musselman is gonna rock it here like we haven't seen since the early 90's. Just sit back and watch it unfold! We WILL be a nationally recognized program again soon.

I hit the Pick 5 yesterday. But the DQ actually cost me money.  I had all three horses in the objection and DQ I wish the 6 would have gotten the win. But the 4 I had the P5 and the P4 which would have been around 1900 total.  The 8 winning I only had the P5 and it paid almost $1700.

I had a $160 ticket with Exclamation Point singled.

I had him singled too. Nice score!  JE's Handmedown killed my ticket though. I had the 5 horse that finally got out from behind the winner's butt with about 40 yards to go and actually closed to 3/4 of a length at the wire. was 4 deep in that race and didn't have that 2. Grrrrr

Glackens Ghost.  I had him too. I took a shot with the 2.  Thought he had a chance and I was thinking five o one would bounce.
I went
2
1/3/8/9
2/5/7/8
2/3/8/9
1/2/4/6/8  Wish the 6 would have won I would have got back about 6k with the P4 and P5

Pick 4 ticket was

3,8,9
2,5,7
2,3,8,9
4,6  DQ cost me the P4.   Cheap ass ticket I had also.  I was basically backing up the P5 in case it was favorites.

I threw out 501 in my pick 5 and still didn't get past the race!

That was a nice group of state breds.  I bet we see them a couple more times running for the 80k allowance purse before the meet ends.

It is interesting how people see different things in looking at a race.  I know you have had some winners where I thought how the hell did you come up with that horse.

userpick

Well I only threw out 501 because I singled the cox horse in the first leg and if my single and 501 both won, it wouldn't have been worth playing imo. Very impressive to have the winner in that race.

I really liked seeing Racer take money in that race. I didn't give him any shot at winning.  I thought the 2 could get the lead and was hoping he could hold them off.  When he came off the corner still clear and didn't look like he was slowing down I was getting a little excited.   I was shocked the 2 floated up that high.

I had already made my picks but then Vic even mentioned five o one bouncing off a big win last year.  I had already come to the same conclusion.  I don't think he bounced Saturday I just think the 2 never stopped running.  He ran 1:10.47. My wife hit the tri playing my horses.

Yes Racer is a 2 turn horse. I haven't seen a figure but I would bet 501 bounced pretty hard. Ricardo said right after the race that 501 didn't seem right the entire race
