Pitiful? Hardly. That's the way soccer goes sometimes. This is a ridiculously young team, and with the injuries they had, making the tournament was a huge achievement.

4-1 in soccer is like, well basically any sec game our football team has played.

Not really. We were down and pressing, throwing numbers forward to try to equalize. That made us vulnerable on counters, which NC State exploited. They finished their opportunities clinically. We had many chances, but we did not finish them. Lopsided looking score. Not that bad a game.
