will almost always beat good hitting. This years team lacks pitching, and when the bats aren't hot, you get the results of the last 2 weekends. Taco has never regained form after being hurt so often. While Knight and Stephan didn't do terrible, the bats of the Hogs that have been dependent upon were shut down by good pitching of OM. Disappointing back to back series, especially this weekend at home. Bye-bye to SEC Crown and hosting regional... Hopefully we can salvage this season by not flaming out after these setbacks, recoup, finish strong and make a push for a Super.

How did good pitching work for us a few years back?  We could keep teams from scoring 3 runs on us, but couldn't score against mediocre pitching.

It did get us to Omaha 2012 & 2015.

This season isn't over. Hosting is still a very real possibility.
