Not sure he wants to be associated with this one, though. He's the #1 RB on the 2008 SI All-Disappointment team.

Kenny Hamlin and Jamaal Anderson also made that list
You guys have a good time frig dancing

Buff

It goes something like this:  If you don't get touches, you can't gain lots and lots of yards.

Ray Piggers

Sounds like SI is hating on Arkansas.

Also, just shows how little they know. Anyone with a brain should realize DMAC, on a good team, would probably be rookie of the year. Thier Offensive line is just that... Offensive.

People are just hating to be hating.

houston nutt did an abismal job of helping players do well in the NFL. it's actually not suprising. corners who can't cover, safties who won't hit, blockers who can't pass block, QB's who can't throw, etc

It would be easy for ESPN to sell that story, but it's hard to explain when:

1) Injuries caused him to have 1 carry or less in 5 games
2) Less than 10 carries in 11 games
3) And that "didn't even crack the 500-yard barrier" comment - he had 499 despite really only playing in 5 games
4) He still had 784 from scrimmage which is hardly bust material

It was disappointing because he was injured too much and played for 2 different head coaches on one of the worst teams in the NFL.

If 2009 is similar to 2008 then we can start talking about it.
