Is the field not Frank Broyles field at DWRRS?

sometimes it's a good and some times it's a schit

could be wrong but I would think permission would have to be given by the DWR Foundation.

Not to be disrespectful but we already have the Broyles Athletic Center and Frank Broyles Field at RRS, along with a Broyles statue. I think 3 is sufficient on such a small campus.

I do think a statue of Broyles needs to be put up in front of the stadium to honor him if nothing else.

Our entire athletics infrastructure on the Hill is a tribute to Broyles.  He built it from pretty much nothing.

For those who haven't been in a while - Broyles statue used to be located in front of the Broyles Center.  It was moved due to the construction.

The statue now resides between the football ops center and Gate 1 (SW Corner).

Very much deserved. And no I haven't been up there in awhile.

That sure is a  little statue.

Statues are supposed to be larger than life.

Have you ever seen the statue in person?

It's pretty good size.

Nolan Richardson court.

Not the proper time or day for that discussion.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

With the respect and gratitude that all Razorback fans, sports fans, and everyone had for Coach Broyles, I believe the best remembrance for him will be done.  IMO, the best coach / athletic director in the history of college sports.

Mike Irwin

The name "Razorback" should always be attached to the stadium. Broyles-Reynolds Razorback Stadium is a mouthful but I'd be okay with it. I would not be okay with Houston Nutt Field at Broyles-Reynolds Razorback Stadium.  ;D

What- "I would not be okay with Houston Nutt Field at Broyles-Reynolds Razorback Stadium"?

I kidd!
