Do you guys prefer one over the other doing the broadcast of the races? I like FOX better, I can only take about 2 minutes of JG old crew chief on NBC.

ricepig

I don't know who the lead guy on NBC is, but every re-start is like the final :02 of a Super Bowl or game 7 with the score tied. I'm sorry, but a re-start was 180 laps left isn't that exciting.

ImHogginIt

I prefer Fox by a mile. I liked it even better with Larry Mac in the booth.

Couldn't agree more about Larry Mac.

NBC is getting killed on Twitter for the number of commercials, it's ridiculous.

DeWayne R

When you're Black and proud it's called pride but when you're White and proud it's called racism

NBC cause no DW!!!

This, but Larry Mac can't be replaced.

Buff

Anyone still watching the race?  It always seems boring after so many cars get knocked out.

You know?  I'm starting to see why.  5 laps, commercial, repeat.

Tony Stewart is in the wall, NBC insists on finishing the commercials before talking about the race we tuned in to watch.

Buff

Wow, another wreck.

Buff

Wow, Kurt Busch gonna be piiiiiisssssed.  Logano just dumped him.

Congrats on Penske's 100th Cup win.

bulldog04

I'm not familiar with racecars having never been around them but do love watching.  I like having things like the car parts explained so I can understand and I get that with FOX.

Racinray

Didn't get to watch a lap but sounds like a typical plate race.

TheRazorback500

Yep, another Daytona, another Big One.

:razorback:
Do you wanna get Rocked?

Racinray

Just read that 47% of the race was not televised because of commercials.

I read that the race was 190 mins long and 57 mins of commercials so that is 30% of actual airtime. Was that 47% of laps not shown possibly ?

Well, to be honest, Fox only showed 72.8% of the Daytona 500 as compared to the 75.3% NBC showed of the 400.

ImHogginIt

Letarte and Burton are boring as hell in the booth.

Letarte is a know it all and needs to know when to Shut Up! :puke:

Graybuck

I would rather listen to fingernails on a chalkboard than listen to Steve LeTarte.    He is the worst I have ever heard and I have been watching since the 80's
