He's a 5.7 three-star, which is just under a 4-star.  And what about his offer list screams 4-star, anyway?

Let me be clear, I LOVE this commit.  I think he's a big time talent.  But I get so sick of every time we get a commit from a three-star, all of a sudden there's some Rivals conspiracy.  It's not a good look.

I get what you're saying, according to HV every one of our recruits last class should be a 4*, but Capps is a big time player. All the other services have him not only a 4*, but in the middle of the pack of their "Top 300" players list. Rivals whiffed on this one.

He's literally four places from being a four star on Rivals.  He's actually pretty highly rated.

And we won't know who hit or missed until they get on the field.

As a recruit, 3 of the 4 service have him as the 160-210 range, but he's not in Rivals top 250. I think most would take the 3/4 bet over the 1/4.

This is why 247 composite is the only one worth using.

All that you've said, plus the fact that the 2016 recruiting season has barely begun, so he's going to have plenty of time to be re-evaluated and prove himself further.

Cole Kelley, as it turns out, is rated 2* by Scout. It seems Scout has two profiles for him for some reason, one lists him as unranked and uncommitted, the other lists him (as Cole Kelly) 2* and committed to Arkansas on 4/17/15.

And Agim is not a 5-star on scout. #146 ranked player in scout top 300. Lowest of the big 4 recruiting sites. Only ESPN gives him 5 stars. ESPN is the only one to get it right. :razorback:

Rookie mistake(s) lol.

Little confusing that Agim's ESPN player page shows 5 gold stars directly under the heading 'Scout Grade' - now realize the rating is ESPN's.
