I know the Slobbering Hog came across from Barnhill to Bud Walton in 1993....I am not sure how long it was at at Barnhill for....Around 30 years or so....


So,  TRADITION takes it from 1960s until the removal in 2010s...

I like the Slobberin' big but I like the current one too.  I'm not sure using the actual Hog logo is "breaking tradition".  Would using the Slobbering hog over the Hog that was before "breaking tradition"?

NO comparison. Slobbering Hog is ridiculous looking. The current court is sharp and consistent with marketing.

BTW - NEVER, I MEAN NEVER consider bringing back Popcorn Hog either.

My vote would be to just add slobber to the current hog and call it good. The old caricature is, well, old. Today's version is sleek and fast looking, just need to add some good ole' slobber.

I watched countless games in Barnhill from the time of the Triplets on, and never noticed the hog was slobbering.  Now that I compare the two, I think the current one looks more serious, and is just fine.  Let's find something more important to debate about.  This movement to restore the slobbering hog sounds more like a trivial way to get a dig in at Jeff Long than wanting to change something for the better.  Who cares?

Sorry, I know there is a lot of nostalgia for the slobbering hog, however it looks it's age. It's had its time, and I think we are best served with our modern hog, and maybe offering more throwback apparel with the slobbering hog.

Which part of the administration signed a 10 year contract with Pepsi for the whole campus do you not comprehend?   Sign all the petitions you want.  Nothing happens until that contract expires--and then there will be a bidding process again.  Coke, evidently, did not want to be here as bad as Pepsi.  I don't think the athletic had or has any say in this matter.  Strictly a business decision with the highest bidder winning.

The reason why The University of Arkansas signed a CAMPUS WIDE contract with Pepsi was the million dollar payout.

Slobberin hog, like War Memorial stadium, has had its time. The difference is we moved on from slobbering hog so it could die with grace, love, dignity. We're still dealing with the War Memorial to the point the fanbase is divided over it.
