De Coronado ran 9th in his racing debut Saturday at The Curragh in Ireland.

Who is De Coronado? He's Zenyatta's 3-year-old full brother, which is a big deal to a lot of people. [Psst -- women, mostly]

The fact that he's just getting going now doesn't augur well for his racing future. He'll probably end up on this side of the Atlantic before the end of the year if not the end of the summer. Or they'll just pack him off to stud before he sullies his value even further by failing to break his maiden.

Mentioned on page 8, last 2 paragraphs --

Could argue all day who was better, who would have won, etc regarding Z and Rachel, but even though Rachel is done breeding, don't think Z will ever produce what Rachel has to this point.  Z's foals have been bad to say the least, but good for bettors because they take a lot of money.
