You don't know what the final roster or schedule will be for the basketball program yet. 

Football is returning a number of players including those injured last season who should have big impacts this season.  Plus skill players who were young last season and learning to play college football.  Morris isn't starting from complete bottom.

There's not much talent on the FB team.  Not much speed either.  I agree with op gonna be a long year.
