Coach Booth and his precious wife Merry Lee were involved in a snowmobile accident in Colorado this past Sunday and sadly Mery Lee passed away as a result of this accident. Coach Booth is in the hospital recovering at this time. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. oh no!  Merry was a long time teacher at Ramay Jr. High in Fayetteville too. Such a sweet lady!

Well see, there's your problem. What you should be thinking is, what would Harry Rex do?

Prayers sent for Coach and his family. How Tragic!
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

So tragic.  Definitely praying for Coach Booth and his family.  He has family that posts here and on other Hog Message boards.  God bless you.

Very sad news. Thought to the family. I've done some snowmobile riding and those things can be dangerous. My wife's neice buried one in a soft snowbank one time and damn near had to go to the hospital from it landing on her leg. Good thing the snow was soft and deep.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Sad to hear.
Where did Booth go? Last I heard I thought he was a Florida coach?
I've never been skiing when I didn't see a person being brought down the slope on a stretcher. It was a daily occurrence, so this news doesn't surprise me. Accidents happen all the time.

Inside every "older" person is a younger person wondering what the hell happened?
