What is the cost difference between  a  Bus  vs  Plane.

Let's assume $50k more per game that is $500 per person for 100 people.

and lets say  6 games with travel  = $300k

I would say  pay the head coach $3.7 million + $300K in plane rides   vs  bus rides and pay the head coach $4 million.

nope, they need to develop their own plan......wait a minute, I take that back.

Those schools could coach up the kids that don't qualify for the first year or 2 - like a developmental league, then when the grades improve - boom they are playing for Arkansas on Saturday. Small schools would have stud athletes that don't meet requirements - just like now - but we need to make the tranisition smooth for these kids when they get on track. No laying out a year, not even a semester - just get your damn grades up.

Coaches make too much dough - that will be adjusted...it's gotten out of hand. Our 'back to the basics' plan applies to coaches too.

ASAA is keeping it real - better paid assistant coaches and a better stipend for the players. Head Coaches will still be paid an unbelievable wage, but we need to pump the breaks a little - time for a reality check. The game won't suffer, kids will still want to play.

Lets suspend stuburness for a sec and consider the following: what if cte and lawsuits at the college and hs level cripple football in 15 years? What if just like boxing , football becomes the 5th most watched sport....


This conference would be a reality. There would be no money to be made for long distance trips in each sport.

the SWC , I got a feeling the S.E.C office would wait for us to join the s.w.c  then they would find a way to get Texas in the s.e.c , which would leave us in the weak s.w.c without the shorthorns in it..  Somehow we would come out on the wrong end of this situation .. But I truly don't ever seeing us leave the SEC though...
