Ainslie's Transfer tracker: A look at Auburn's roster moves during the spring transfer window

QuoteAs of Tuesday, the transfer portal is once again open for business for college football players. The portal will remain open for 14 days for undergraduate transfers and 15 days for those looking to transfer as graduate students.

While spring's transfer window is set to be a bit more tame than when it was last open between December and January and more than 2,000 football players tested the waters, there will still be plenty of movement to watch —

Even at Auburn.

Here's a rundown of what's happened since the portal opened April 16:

Day 1, April 16
8:20 a.m. — Auburn DL Brenton Williams reportedly enters the transfer portal

8:40 a.m. — Auburn reportedly expresses interest in Ohio State RB back Dallan Hayden

10:25 a.m. — Auburn reportedly expresses interest in Penn State transfer WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith

Day 2, April 17
8:00 a.m. — Indiana transfer DL Philip Blidi wraps up official visit to Auburn

6:40 p.m. — Auburn reportedly expresses interest in USC transfer IOL Jason Zandamela

While Freeze didn't explicitly mention looking for more offensive linemen in the transfer portal, you can never have too many

7:45 p.m. — Arkansas State transfer EDGE Keyron Crawford expected to visit Auburn

After a sophomore campaign that saw him tally 44 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, Crawford entered the transfer portal

Day 3, April 18

1:35 p.m. — Auburn reportedly set to play host to Miami EDGE transfer Nyjalik Kelly

Day 4, April 19
9:00 p.m. — Auburn reportedly among those interested in Colorado CB transfer Cormani McClain

Day 5, April 20
12:00 p.m. — Auburn WR Jay Fair reportedly enters transfer portal

Day 6, April 21
5:40 p.m. — Auburn wins the commitment of Indiana DL transfer Philip Blidi

Day 7, April 22
2:20 p.m. — Former USC and Texas A&M transfer DL Isaiah Raikes commits to Auburn

2:55 p.m. — Auburn linebacker Wesley Steiner expected to enter the transfer portal

5:20 p.m. — Arkansas State EDGE transfer Keyron Crawford becomes third to commit to Auburn in 24 hours

Ainslie Reports: Auburn CB Tyler Scott backpedals away from transfer portal, will return to The Plain

QuoteAfter reportedly beginning the process to enter his name into the transfer portal Wednesday, Auburn cornerback Tyler Scott has reportedly changed his mind.

Scott, who is set to be a redshirt freshman in 2024, saw limited action in his first season on The Plains as he appeared in five games and totaled just two tackles.

However, during Auburn's recent spring camp, Scott was among those who saw their stock rise with what Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze called a "really solid camp." Kayin Lee, another young cornerback in Auburn's secondary, told reporters in March that he'd seen "a lot of growth" from Scott.
