Does anyone have or know where I can get one of the 94-95 Razorback football jerseys??   These were the ones that had the Hogs on the top shoulders.  I have checked e-bay and all on-line stores for info.

Thanks,

John

Why would you want one of those ugly things, unless you are trying to get Peanut Adams or Pete Burks to autograph one?

Yeah, those APEX atrocities were hideous.

I don't care what you say, that is funny right there. LOL! I think Gary "Peanut" Adams was in 1991. Gary "Peanut" Adams, where are they now? Gary Adams once patrolled the Razorbacks' secondary as a hard-hitting defensive back. He now protects his country through his career in the Secret Service.

Gary "the secret weapon Peanut" Adams!  Wishbone Specialist - not really.

Well, I know they were'nt the best, but it is a peice of hog football history, I would like it for my razorback room collection, plus I am pretty sure I could get a couple of autos on it, but probably not peanut.   Any clues??

Worth nothing you should look for a basketball jersey from those years.

booogaga

it was not one of the best uniforms we ever had but i can totally see the nostalgia in wanting to own one. especially if you got players from that period to sign it. i think it would be a cool thing to have hanging up. dont listen to these guys. i think it would be a cool thing to own.
GO HOGS!

chortle

They are locked away in a hangar at Area 51.

Hog fans everywhere are pretending that they, like UFO's, don't really exist.

Thanks boogaga,     Thats the reason I would like to have one, for the historical coolness of having one.   I wouldn't wear it in public.   I tried e-bay no luck.

I suggest downloading the latest football media guide.  Find the roster for that year, and start trying to locate guys that were on the team.   I would do some research and start with anyone that has had legal troubles or is currently working somewhere where you have to wear a blue vest.  You could probably buy theirs on the cheap.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

That was the Barry Lunney years.  I happen to own one with the number 7 which was Lunney.

I have a #7 Lunney jersey. I still wear it on occasions, usually laundry day while cruising around in my 5 point oh with the top laid back so my hair can blow...

I'll make a prediction: If BCG were to get the Tennessee job, Calipari will be fired from UK within 2 years because from the 2013-2014 season on, Tennessee will own the SEC East until BCG moves on or retires.

Do you have girlies on stand-by, waiting just to say hi?

razrhawg

I have the jacket "Apex" like that. It was a gift, still use it some time.

While we are looking for old ugly ass jerseys, does anyone know where I can pick up one of those old Tampa Bay Bucs jerseys?  They were sweet.

taintlint

The 7th circle of hell called and said the jerseys were evicted last month for trashing the place up. Maybe you should check trailer parks in the Benton area?

Fail.  Those guys weren't on the hill in 94.

At the time I thought they were terrible. Now having seen the last few years of the Sonic the Hedgehog style and tusk on the sleeves replacing the classic logo I'd gladly welcome them back.

They're all 75 years old I bet..............................
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Those jerseys were so bad even the toxic waste dump wouldn't take em.

The Reebok cleats with the fake "pumps" were worse.   Painful, heavy, and the insides dissolved with sweat.  Some guys got people mission to wear their black Nikes from the year before. They had to be spray painted white to match and to cover up the anime symbols.

JJ Meadors modeling the Apex.  I hate them, but kinda like them at the same time.  I think most of the negativity is more about the football in that era than the jerseys.

The white looked better than the red imho.  Agreed that it was a bad era in Hog football.
