That is Larnardi's latest update, but it was before today's game. If we don't beat Tenn I would assume we would stay at least a 10 seed.

After past meeting with S Cal in football and round ball, a pay back would be in order.

We are an 8 or 9 seed now.  Beating Tennessee will get us out of the dreaded 8-9 spot.  We will be 7 if we beat UT, 6 if we beat Kentucky/MSU.

I agree, don't want that 8-9 seed.  But I will take whatever seed we get.  You have to beat the big boys some time in the tournament, might as well start out early if you get by the first round.  Still would rather matchup with someone besides a 1 seed.

I disagree; RPI is not all they base inclusion/seeds on.  Right now, we are locked into an 8/9 UNLESS we win out - in which case we might be as high as a 5/6.  If we win tommorrow, then lose, still at 8/9 - maybe 10.

A win like Tennessee would do wonders.  If we are a 8 or 9 seed now, how would beating a potential #1 seed not move us up?

If we are an 8-9 seed will we'll play an 8-9 seed. If we beat Tenn then we may move up to a 6-7  seed. If we end up as a 6-7 seed we would probably play a 10 seed.

I just hope we can play in N Little Rock or Birmingham

If we were to beat UT tomorrow we would likely be a 7, but maybe an 8. That would mean we have wins over UT, VCU, MSU, Oral Roberts, Baylor, and 2 over Vandy. We would have 5 wins over NCAAT teams, and 2 more over teams that could get an at-large bid. That would be 3 wins over ranked teams and we would finish with a record of 22-11. That is if we lost in the SECCG. To tell you the truth, I don't expect to win tomorrow but if we do I would put money down we win it all. UK or MSU will not beat us.

If we do win it all where would we be seeded ? Better than a 6 seed ?

Unlikely-- and the problem would be Vandy, of all teams.  The region rules  for seedomg would work against us, too.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

It really depends on who we were to beat in the SECCG and how other teams did. I personally think if we were to beat UT and MSU/UK we would be a 6 seed. I wouldn't hold your breath on a 5 seed if we won it all though. A 6 seed is likely if we won out.
