In Cancun on Labor Day weekend, Razorback basketball will be one of many options for somebody looking to duck a squall or to protect against a sunburn. Guilt-free, fans can stay on the beach, confident the Razorbacks are wearing out the opposition.

Those games are immaterial; the trip enables new coach John Pelphrey to get 10 practices with his entire team for the first time. It is an opportunity for seniors to purge old habits and for freshmen to impress prior to the traditional mid-October start.
