  • Starship, Scary Mary and Enagodadavida were on  the itinerary...... and the 1 legged hooker.

I haven't been to Starship in two decades. If I went now they'd probably think I was a narco agent.

I was in there last fall, before that probably 1990.  It's still a cool place.

  • I have a huge favor to ask you road warriors. I pride myself on making as many road games as I can and really enjoy visiting with Razorback fans on the road. I enjoy road games much more than home games.. It seems like those that travel are more in the game. I can't imagine if RRS was filled with road hogs.. The noise would be insane..
Anyway.. I usually order through the ticket office and end up with the worst possible seats in the house. I rarely get to sit down low unless I travel to the venue and gamble on buying from a scalper. Do any of you get lower level tickets when traveling to a road game? And if so would you please PM me in the future? I would be most appreciative. I can promise you that myself and friends would represent in your place very well.  :)   The 2 games that we really want to go to is TCU and Auburn. I would be more than happy to purchase them from you.  Thanks in advance and God Bless

Ha! Starship Records and Tapes (shows it's age) used to be the best record store in OK. There was a "gift shop" next door with loads of bongs and other paraphenalia. They used to be near TU, 15th/Delaware (I think). They are now on Lewis between 11th and 15th. Something like that. Apparently still worth the trip!

  • Just get them through stubhub or similar site and sit where you want.  I've usually been able to find reasonably priced tickets in the area I wanted to sit.

  • They still sell records and tapes. Now the music store and head shop are under the same roof. I think they moved to Lewis about 10 years ago. It's in the perfect location. Across the street is a palm reader/quick divorce/bead store.

  • As posted in previous threads, i am visiting October 8th for the Bama game.  You guys have been very kind in giving advice, etc.

I'm looking for a place near campus that reserves parking for individual football games in advance, whether it be a church, school, another fan, etc.  I know this may be a difficult request, but do you guys know of any websites, etc I could check out?  I have been checking Stubhub.

Otherwise I guess I will have to park at Baum Stadium parking lot.  Does it fill up fast?

    Thanks again guys in advance.

I don't think they offer pre-pay single tickets:

    Quote
Single game passes will be available on a first come first serve basis.  However, you will not be allowed to "choose" the location of your space.

However, you can call them and see what time you should get there etc.

How far are you willing to walk and what do you plan to do before/after the game?
  • #17013 by arky37 on 15 Jun 2016
  • There will be hundreds of passes for sale on Stubhub in another month or so. The problem is they don't guarantee the same parking assignments every year like they do with seats, so it's risky for sellers to list this far in advance. I would definitely wait it out.
  • #17014 by FANONTHEHILL on 15 Jun 2016
  • An inexpensive option is parking at Fayetteville High School.  It's southeast of the stadium. There are no reserved spots, but always spots available. It's a fundraiser for there band. $10-$20 in recent years.  The walk up to the stadium takes you by the Gardens Tailgate area and you could drop by the museum at Bud Walton Arena if you like.

A totally free option, but is a long walk, is to park on Dickson Street and walk up.  I attend Central United Methodist Church and there is a covered parking garage at the church that is free.  Also lots of standard lot parking as well. You could head up Dickson (the Fayetteville Entertaimment District) grab some food or a drink, enjoy the game, and then do the same on your way back to the car.

Whatever you decide to do, have a safe trip up.

Oliver and Halsell (highlighted streets) have plenty of ($25 - $60) single game options... Easy walk to the stadium through some pretty popular tailgating areas. Get there early and you won't have any problems finding a spot.

  • As several folks have stated the key is to get to a place to park EARLY. That being said, there are several private residences that park cars on Cleveland ST. It's north of the stadium about 1/4-1/2 mile. The caveat is that the walk down is easy;  the walk back up after the game is a calf burner and lung expander for about 250 yards or so.   If age, bad knees etc...are an issue, plan accordingly

If the opportunity presents itself and you get the chance you might look to see if a parking tag comes available for sale in the parking garage right across from RRS on Stadium Dr.

  • Cant seem to find a topic on this so here goes: Finally going to arlington this year. Purchasing tickets through the ticket office i notice they have different ticket levels. Is it worth it to bump up from the $85 single game ticket to the $125? What sections are good to sit in and which ones do you want to avoid? Last but not least, what are some recommended places to stay the night? Any help is greatly appreciated  :razorback: :razorback: :razorback:
  • #17026 by George S. Pigton on 15 Jun 2016
  • The $85 should be in the corners of the upper most deck, the $125 will be between the 30's of the upper most deck, to me, not worth the extra cash because of the size of the video board.
  • #17027 by MiillerSickness on 15 Jun 2016

Double tree this year 30 miles away but much cheaper

  • Here is a seating map with the prices:

    Virtual Seating Chart:

    http://dallascowboys.io-media.com/web/index.html

    View From My Seat:

    http://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/AT-and-T+Stadium/

We had a little extra income last year so we bought club seats.  They were really nice and in a great location but we wouldn't spend that type of money again unless it was for a bowl game.

I would say that anywhere between 20s will give you good visibility of the jerry-tron.

    Hotel:

The Days Inn Arlington is a really convenient hotel located right across from the stadium.  However, it is very very expensive.  They mark up the prices for game-day weekends.  The wife and I stayed at this hotel last season.  We checked in Friday and checked out Sunday.  It cost us around $350.

If you stay at a hotel close enough to walk or use a shuttle from your hotel... No.

This isn't a college town and there isn't any vacant lots to park.  If you park on some side road or in a parking space without a pass you will be towed.

Right now the best site is through the Razorback Ticket Office:

    http://ev12.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=FBA&linkID=arkansas&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

Stubhub's cheapest ticket is $121.00 w/o fees in the nosebleeds:

    http://www.stubhub.com/texas-am-football-tickets-texas-a-m-vs-arkansas-9-24-2016/event/9486230/?mbox=1&abbyo=true&rS=0&qtyq=false&sliderpos=false

So most attending the game are going to buy the $50 parking passes? i doubt that.

Actually, yeah a lot of them will.  But I dug a little deeper and found that you can get parking on StubHub for as cheap as $7 :

This is a tremendous help for those driving to the game. I would encourage anyone to go to Ticketmaster and consider buying one. They just started selling parking spots this morning, and last year they went fast.

I've never seen a group of fans who are so quick to tell someone else how to spend, or usually, not spend their money.  If they've never been there, it's a stadium to see, at least once.

Agreed. Worth every penny last year.

  • I usually buy the $125 tix and have always been pleased w/ the seats I receive --  in the 200 section all years but one, and in the 100's once.

Last year bought the $300 section tickets and enjoyed them as well. But I had to StubHub them to get the section we wanted. I gave away my $125 tickets and the couple I gave them to ended up skipping the game (sigh).
  • #17049 by greasy_corner on 15 Jun 2016
  • As much as it pains me to say it...don't buy games like these thru the university.  You can get much better seats thru craigslist, stubhub, or the local dfw brokers etc.  I've gone to several and you can find cash parking for $20 nearby, the day of the game.

  • #17050 by BassinHawg on 15 Jun 2016
  • Wonder why you can't pick your seats like you could in years past through the University? Have I missed something?

Also, whenever I have used a parking pass there they always have told me to park anywhere I wanted no matter where my pass was for.
