But we'll have Mike on the sideline, scowling, and reminding his players they gettin punk'd, and fighting any bears that come around ( of course they cant fight tigers, bulldogs, wildcats, gamecocks, gators, commodores, etc ). And a few people can continue to warm themselves in the fading embers of 1994.

As long as Mike has Long support and he continues to recruit to the level that we are now he will be fine. In hindsight the lost of Jimmy Whitt has been bigger than I thought it would be. Losing Jimmy forced us to play a line up that is not athletic by SEC standards. Those guys at Mississippi State last night looked like basketball players. They where long and athletic. Our guys just don't look like SEC level teams look. We are short and slow ( Beard, Watkins, Hannah).

You just said our problem is with personnel... so how, exactly, does Mike recruiting at the level he is at now get us anywhere.  The ENTIRE point is that the level he has been recruiting at now, is a big part of what got us in this mess in the first place.
