In 1923, who was:

The President of the largest steel company
The President of the largest gas company
The President of the New York Stock Exchange
The greatest wheat speculator
The President of the Bank of International Settlement
The Great Bear of Wall Street

These men were considered some of the world's most successfull individuals in their day. But as history shows:

Charles Schwab was the president of the largest steel company, he died a pauper.

Edward Hopson, the president of the largest gas company, went insame.

Richard Whitney, the president of the NYSE, died at home after his release from prison.

Arthur Cooger, the wheat speculator, died abroad, penniless.

The president of the Bank of International Settlement shot himself.

Cosabee Livermore, the Great Bear of Wall Street, also committed suicide.

HOWEVER, in 1923, the PGA and US Open champion was Gene Sarazen. He played golf until he was 92 and died in 1999 at the age of 95. He was financially secure at the time of his death.

The Lesson Learned:

SCREW WORK; PLAY GOLF
