I wonder how much longer Scout will retain any importance with recruiting writers for major schools ending their affiliation with them and jumping ship to ESPN?

There are at least three I can think of off the top of my head who have done this, USC, Florida and OU, and it seems like there's a fourth.

Scout is absolutely terrible with their rankings and they have always been that way...

Scout will be done soon enough.  The big markets have left i.e. FSU, SoCal, Texas, ect..  ESPN will be competing with Rivals very shortly.
