Stopped reading when two teams that we curb stomped and lost their bowl were ranked ahead of us.

No reason to stop reading.  Bowl games are not indicative of a teams potential in the upcoming year.  The new year brings in some different coaches as well as a different starting team.

+1; thanks for the link.  Fwiw--I'll admit that it's not much--I am okay with the fact that LSU and Ole Miss are ranked ahead of us.  If we beat them, it makes us look that much better.  Additionally, the added hype of SEC West adds to our aura if/when we do win.

5 of the top 10 SEC and 7 of the top 15.

Only 2 B1G programs in the top 27 vs 11 SEC programs in the top 27.  Oh St has it good right now. 

First ACC program at 19.

At least the Pac 12 shows some depth.
