That video was cut and spliced to show Spurrier in a poor light.  I've seen his press conferences for the past two years, and he jokes with the media that way.  Had they shown those clips in their entirety, I think it would have been apparent that he was not being a jerk.  He was beginning to grin after he asked the reporter if he was an Arkansas guy.  The tone of the whole report, namely the tone of the narrating reporter, shows poor intent on the part of the entire production. But, it's just a silly little local news segment.  Who cares?

Lawdog, you are not biased are ya? J/K! I don't like Sunvisor boy at all but the interview wasn't as bad as I had imagined. He was obviously kidding around with the media and Bo took a little liberty with it, IMO.

He did get a little psych on Mitch though, questioning his ability to handle a passing game . . . making sure he got the "true freshman" comment in. That was good psy-ops. Go ahead Sunvisor boy, throw down that gauntlet. I bet Mitch will be happy to pick it up and slap ya right in the pie hole with it!

I really don't think that was really that much of a psych job by Spurrier.  He's said the same thing about our freshman QB all year.  He feels very strongly that a freshman QB can't take command of a passing game.  He's been very consistent on that well before this week.

But he did seem to throw a few little fun jabs.
