The Recruiting Guy

I caught up with Josh today and here is a little bit of the conversation.

TRG:  Josh, what is your height, weight, and 40 right now?

Josh:  I am 5'11", 177lbs, and I run a 4.42.

TRG:  I understand you didn't make it to the HDN camp this week.  Any plans to make the next one?

Josh:  Yes, I couldn't make this one, but I am defiantly planning on making the senior camp in July.

TRG:  You played a little all over the field last year.  How did you do in those positions?

Josh:  At WR, I had 66 catches for over 1100 yards with 6 TDs.  At RB, I don't remember how many carries I had but I ran for 920 yards with 14 TDs.  And at CB, I had 38 tackles 3 or 4 INTs and knocked down 9 passes.

TRG:  Pretty impressive.  What schools have shown you interest so far?

Josh:  Standford, Arkansas, Tulsa, Kansas St, Nebraska, and Texas A&M have all contacted me and said they are interested in me.

TRG:  What schools do you think you will visit?

Josh:  I right now I would like to visit Arkansas, Stanford, and Kansas St.

TRG:  Stanford huh, I hear you have pretty good grades.  How are you doing?

Josh:  Yes,  I have a 3.9 GPA and I scored a 22 on the ACT but I am going to take it again because I know I can do better than that.

TRG:  What position would you like to play at the next level?

Josh:  I would like to play WR but it really doesn't matter.  I will play where ever my team wants me to play.

Thanks again for your time, Josh.  I plan on following Josh through his recruitment and giving updates.  Josh is also going to send us a highlight tape soon.

Another good one, TRG.  Thanks for all your efforts.  They are much appreciated.   :razorback:

Josh played my hometown team this past week in the play-offs and didnt have a good game at all.  The Wynne Def. held Morrilton to 6 points.  Josh couldnt hardly catch a cold with the coverage T. Boykin was putting on him.  The other D-1 pick didnt do much better either.  It wasnt completly their fault though, becouse the QB didnt have much time to find them do to T.Garret chasing him all over the backfield.  So go duke good luck.
