TRG:  What is your height, weight, and 40?

Sonny:  I am 5'11", 170lbs, and I run a 4.4 in the 40.

Sonny:  I play RB and CB.

TRG:  What were your stats from last year?

Sonny:  I rushed for 1900 yards and had 22 TDs.

TRG:  Pretty impressive.  What about on defense?

Sonny:  I had 8 INTs.

TRG:  What position do you see yourself playing at the next level?

Sonny:  Laughing I will play whatever position my team needs me to play.

TRG:  Good answer.  What offers do you have right now?

Sonny:  Right now my only offer is from Colorado.

TRG:  What other schools are interested in?

Sonny:  Arkansas, Colorado, LSU, Ole Miss, and Nebraska.

TRG:  Have you been contacted by Arkansas?

Sonny:  Yes sir, I have received letters from them.

TRG:  What camps or visits do you plan to make this summer?

Sonny:  Right now I plan to go to LSU's summer camp and I will take a couple of visits to some schools but I don't know for sure which ones I will visit yet.

TRG:  How about your team last year, how did you guys do?

Sonny:  We were 8-2 and went to the District Championships.

TRG:  Thanks again for your time and good luck to you in the future.

Sonny:  You're welcome and thank you.

We should have a tape up on Sonny soon.

I hope Arkansas opens up the recruiting in Louisisana again.

Me too.  Lots of talent in that state and being a border state and that Arkansas plays LSU you would think that it would be a can't miss recruiting area.

I think Arkansas could get a lot of the talent they need to be a power house from recruiting the border states (Texas, Louisianna, Eastern part of Oklahoma, Memphis and Mississippi) along with what they have in Arkansas.  And then continue to milk the small pipe lines they have (Atlanta, GA area ).  And then go after that special player that may be way out of your usual area.

I thought all of Houston's players were "special"? J/K. I agree. I hope that we can get more players out of Louisiana now that Saban has left. There are a lot of talented players in Louisiana, and UA would be well served to recruit more from the area.
